Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has said the system is not yet done with Deputy President Dr. William Ruto

Speaking on Monday morning while responding to why Jubilee gave in to ODM demands, Murathe said it is the interest of ODM & Jubilee to ensure William Ruto does not become president.

” We are not yet done with him, not until he comes to us while on his knees crying, ” he said.

According to Murathe, the Jubilee party surrendered three committee chairmanship posts to ODM after learning that Tanga Tanga MPs were planning a coup in those committees.

” Our earlier position was that Jubilee will take those committees but later realized William Ruto’s camp we’re scheming to pull out a surprise by nominating their own as chairpersons.” Murathe added.

The vocal anti-Ruto top official in the ruling party also disclosed a plan to kick out the remaining MPs who are allied to DP Ruto from house committees that are deemed crucial for the passage of the envisaged Building Bridges Initiative ( BBI) constitutional reforms.

Uasin Gishu Women Rep Gladys Shollei and Kandara MP Alice Wahome will lose their nomination to the Committee on Delegated Legislation for their stand on the BBI & handshake.

Also targeted is Tharaka Member of Parliament George Gitonga who is set to lose his slot in the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC).
