Kieleweke Social Media Strategist & Chief Blogger Pauline Nyathira Njoroge has been appointed as a board member of the Tourism Regulatory Authority.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday made several changes in parastatals in yet another attempt to reorganize his government as he nears the end of his term.
The latest appointments appeared to reward allies as well as associated of his newfound partners in the famous handshake process.
The Cabinet Secretary for Toursim & Wildlife Najib Balala via gazette notice dated 7th August 2020 appointed Ms. Njoroge and other 3 to serve in Tourism board for a period of 3 years.
Pauline becomes the second Kieleweke blogger to be appointed to a government job after Education CAS Zack Kinuthia who was last year appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Prior to their appointments, the two were leading the online onslaught against Deputy President Dr. William Ruto accusing him and his allies of sabotaging President Uhuru Kenyatta’s efforts to transform the country.
Recently, Pauline Njoroge accused DP Ruto of being behind the revenue share standoff saying Ruto had instructed his allies in the Senate led by Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen to shoot down the formula that is set to benefit Mt. Kenya residents.
