Cleophas Malala survives the expulsion from ANC Party.

The registrar of political parties Anne Nderitu declines the removal of Kakamega Senator, Cleophas Malalah from Amani National Congress (ANC)

The registrar sited that the party Constitution and due process was not followed in the expulsion of Malalah. The ANC party has written to the registrar seeking to kick out the besieged senator from the part due to close association with ODM Party.

The move by the registrar may either expose her as biased or deal a blow to Tuju’s plan to expel Senators who support DP William Ruto.

Among other grounds, Nderitu observed that the disciplinary process was not concluded within the stipulated timelines under the ANC party constitution.

The Jubilee party constitution also stipulates similar timelines which have been breached by the Jubilee disciplinary committee
