She points out that her life and that of her family was put in danger while investigating the Westlands Underworld after recovering two passports belonging to the Asians from a high ranking officer in the Kenya Police Service.

She reveals that the said officer is her ex-boyfriend whom she met in Kirinyaga County when she was serving as Secretary of Security while the man was an OCPD.

Ms. Jane has also accused a top officer working with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI) headquarters.

The officer according to her is a close friend she has worked with for many years in her career as an investigator.

She says the officer sponsored the media to sell the narrative that she is a criminal but has never presented any evidence against her in court.

Jane narrated how she met him while she was working with DCI as a chief investigator and the then Director of Criminal Investigation Joseph Kamau had posted her to Kabete Police Station as an undercover while the officer was an aide to the boss.

The two have worked together since and have handled many cases of national interest including NYS with the last assignment being in June and July 2019.

However, despite Jane Mugo having invested her efforts, money, and time to recover stolen public money, the DCI officer took the reports to President Uhuru Kenyatta without telling him her selfless and patriotic input as a whistleblower.

” He also failed to act against his junior officers Bernard CCIO Nairobi area and Nicholas Kamwende Director of forensic in his office yet the two played a key role in the Westlands Underworld ” she added.

Jane Mugo states
her sources who helped her during the investigation are on her neck while the government of Kenya owes her Ksh 3 Million for being a whistleblower.

On his part, The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) had promised that suspects who were mentioned in the Westlands Underworld expose were going to be arrested.

DPP is yet to order the arrest of prime suspects including the top Kenya Police Officer and a legislator.
